Born In New York City, Patrick spent his first nine years living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. He attributes his appreciation for a rich and diverse culture to those formative years where being different was the norm. At age 10, his family moved to a small town outside of Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Middle and High School. Patrick’s love of the mountains and skiing inspired him to choose the University of Vermont for college, but it was his curiosity and desire to experience his Norwegian heritage first hand which prompted Patrick’s move overseas to Bergen, Norway. Over the course of two years, Patrick became fluent in Norwegian while developing strong communication skills and sales experience, which laid the foundation for his next adventure. Returning stateside, Patrick settled in New Orleans, where he started his own business importing smoked salmon and seafood from Norway and selling it to restaurants and caterers in the Greater New Orleans area. His business thrived until it’s demise due to Hurricane Katrina. After a brief period away from New Orleans, Patrick returned and joined in the city’s rebuilding efforts. During the process of renovating his damaged Bywater home Patrick realized his love of New Orleans’ architecture and history exemplified through the City’s Unique and Vibrant Neighborhoods. His new found appreciation inspired his choice to become a Realtor.
As a Realtor for 13+ years, Patrick has accumulated a wealth of knowledge specific to the historical structures of New Orleans. With working experience throughout New Orleans, Patrick specializes in representing condominium development sales in the Central Business District (CBD) and Warehouse District and is well versed in handling both new construction as well as conversions of existing buildings. A true joy also comes from selling historic properties in the French Quarter, Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods. Residing in a historic Bywater shotgun style home that was built in the 1860′s, Patrick values the aesthetics and artistry of local architecture, as much as he enjoys working with clients who are looking for the old world charm for which New Orleans is renowned.
